Changes in the Format of the Copa Del Rey & Spanish Super Cup The Super Cup will not bring together the winners between La Liga and the Copa del Rey. The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) approved a significant format change to the Copa del Rey and Super Cup starting in the 2019/20 season.
